I'm confused on the syrup recipe. You simmer 1 cup of water, assuming ZERO evaporation, add the tea bags then remove them, assuming ZERO liquid goes with them. Then you add 1 cup of sugar(volume not mass), which I guess gets you to the two cups you need to get to a pint? then your now tepid water(it's been sitting for 10 minutes) is supposed to dissolve a cup of sugar 1:1 without additional heat?
Just fucking around man, seems interesting as someone who likes tea and whiskey I'll give it a shot.
