I’ll try to make this as short and succinct as possible…
Back in early May, @wolfpack made a comment to me in a private chat that we should see if there’s enough interest in buying a quarter barrel from New Riff. It kinda started out as a joke, but not really a joke. He posted in this PCF Whiskey thread that he was going to get information about buying a 1/4 barrel if there was enough interest that would get us at least a 60 bottle commitment. His idea gained the necessary traction relatively quick and next thing you know, we were planning a date for the barrel selection tasting…which was last Friday 7/8!
All we are doing now is waiting for them to contact @wolfpack when everything is bottled up and ready to be picked up at the distillery in August!!!
Two huge points…
1. Everyone involved in the tasting last week had an absolute blast. It was great to finally put some faces to the usernames and hang out with some really great people. Fantastic experience! @Indyscammer , @Mrs Poker Zombie , @Poker Zombie , @wolfpack and @spencer (great kid Mike!)
2. Most importantly above anything else…all of this was made possible by Todd (@wolfpack) and his commitment to making this happen. He did the lion’s share of the work and he did a great job!! I just came along for the ride (flight to Kentucky actually lol)! THANK YOU TODD!

At this point I am waiting for the distillery to contact me letting me know when the bottles will be done and ready for pickup to schedule a pickup time. I am hoping one or two other members in the buy can show up to help take a few cases.
I will then reach out to people to get address and see if those close together can maybe have the bottles sent to a central figure.

I had some chills yesterday when I tested positive but I’m fine now. My whole family tested positive all week so I knew it was coming. Lucky for us the symptoms haven’t been bad hence my cigar and drink
I’m purposely not PCFing much during my quarantine because I know I’ll be buying a lot out of boredom. Lol
I had it earlier this year, had 4 rough days then a mild cold for 2 weeks.
