Went to Total Wine on Friday to get a bottle for a friend. Ended up having a good conversation with their whiskey guy and samples more than a couple. This was my favourite: Clyde May's barrel select. I bought two and took one to my buddie's place on Saturday night and we ended up drinking half the bottle - I really enjoyed it.

The first time I drank "Redemption" I didn't care for it. It eventually grew on me. I think its sweeter than what I normally like. The rest of your selection is spot on!

Thanks Bill. The redemption is the high rye version - I had some last night and since you like Bulleit rye, I think you’d like this too. It’s like half way between rye and bourbon.

I actually don't like Bulleit rye. I like Knob Creek rye. The redemption did grow on me though.
