Battered haddock, chips (not fries), copious amounts of salt and vinegar and a can of Irn Bru. That’s your Friday night sorted.

If you’re from Glasgow it’s salt and vinegar. If you’re from Edinburgh it’s salt and sauce with the sauce in question being brown sauce...
