I was able to score several cases of Opus One if anyone has any chips to trade. Looking for Jack Det.

Every year from 2000-2009 I’ll have a case.

We need some details on this one!
I decanted this for a good 3 hours. I have to say that I was surprised by the tannins that are still prevalent in this bottle. This thing was built for cellaring (a long time). I have another bottle which I’ll probably wait at least another 5 years to open, God willing.

I drank a ‘89 on New Year’s Eve a few years ago. Decanted that for 8 hours!

@allforcharity

Thank you for the wine coupon from Naked Wine. I got 12 bottles of small time wine makers from Cali, Portugal, and Australia that I would have never have seen otherwise for $79, free shipping. About $6.60 per bottle! I can't wait to try them! Thank you sir!

Hey, that's awesome! I was afraid it could have expired by the time it got to you. Let us know what you bought with it and tasting notes!

just bought a 2016 Valdicava brunello di montalcino riserva Madonna del Piano - $249 at Costco

2027-2035 to enjoy per cellar tracker. I can't wait to enjoy this one some day, lol

When I was living in London, I used to head down to France for a day-trip mainly to buy wine and cheese. After leaving 20 years ago, I left all the remnants at my parent's place. I'm here now and have been digging in the cupboards! No idea what these are like now but I have several bottles of each.

I’ll be honest. Im a total rookie when it comes to this but a family member gave up drinking so I bought his wine collection what we thought was fair. Either I got a great deal or he did, doesn’t matter either way bc we’re family.

But I have a case of opus wine from 2000-2009.

Opened two bottles so far. Delicious. Cork fell apart in one but it still tasted great. (2000 and 2003).

Also several port wines and more cali cabs…I’ll take some photos later once I do inventory.

Here are some more…
