Picked up this bottle today. Not to shabby!!! Pretty smooth with hints of vanilla, agave, fruit, and maybe a bit of oak. It has a unique flavor!!!
I ended up doing a Tequila flight at The Wynn in Vegas a couple weeks ago. Really good.

I am a big fan of El Tesoro but have never had the opportunity to try the Paradiso. I would love to get ahold of some some day!
Got a new one recently, Avion 44 Extra Anejo, and I'm very pleased. I'm not very good a describing taste notes, but I can tell you I like vanilla, and dislike coffee and bourbon. I like it better than the Los Azuelos and the Corralejo 1821 it's pictured with.
So I wander in here to ask a question and find this on the previous page. Nice.
Question: 3 bottles of Don Julio 1942 or 1 bottle of Don Julio Ultima?
I am still searching for Dame Mas and El Tesoro Paradiso. I did a Tequila flight at the Wynn, and these were absolutely fantastic.
I just picked up one of the El Tesoro Extra Anejo the other week. Haven’t tried it yet but I was pretty happy with the anejo version so figured it was worth a try.
Just found this one in PA for $88.00
Have not cracked it open yet.

1.5oz Cointreau
1oz lime juice
Or some multiple of that.
- 3 ounces Pasote Reposado tequila
- ½ ounce agave syrup
- 3 dashes Aztec chocolate bitters
- Express orange rind over top and drop

Good recipe! Fresh limes is the only way to go. Have you tried Cointreau instead of Grand Marnier? First time I tried it, I never went back to Grand Marnier.
I'll have to try it again. Last time I did was years ago.

They're actually quite nice with a smoky tequila or mezcal lol.
My favorite <$50 Mezcal. So smooth & smoky.
