I wouldn’t have paid attention if I hadn’t found two chips from my own custom (« Aces showdown » WSOP tribute) which I haven’t made available to anyone - which kind of makes me wonder how they ended up there?

Mine are there too. I'm very disappointed in this. I only auctioned off one sample set of my customs to the general public. Even if this isn't a member here, last time I do that. Sorry folks.

Maybe not who you think it is…I haven’t given any sample or single to anyone…looks like someone might have a direct source into CPC factory…

I'd like to know what's going on. I don't see any of my chips but now I don't feel that I can be certain that they aren't out there.

The other thing I noticed this that most of the custom chips in this lot left the factory around the same time period. MD-50, FDL, and oversize molds all ran Q1 of 2021. Whoever this is likely had access to the factory during that time period only. Curious that there's nothing from before that time or nothing after that, yet.

I have never given or sold any samples of my Buzzards Roost set. My chips could have only come from someone at CPC.

I would be happy and proud if CPC, as a business, or David, as the manager, kept just a sample of my custom sets, to post in their website at least.

There is a clear danger nowadays, however, upon the collapse of international mailing services.

In David's shoes, I 'd collect any samples in person, in my Maine factory, upon visiting there.

Nice idea (and it usually happens) but the US borders are still closed to UK citizens so I had no option really.

All good. I think I posted this before it was established that this was a missing box that was en route to you and is your property. My initial thought was that someone was buying up custom samples and then flipping them on eBay.

No harm or offense taken from my end. I actually hope that you and the factory workers keep samples for yourselves.

They were shipped USPS and the loss/missing package was reported and chased every other day throughout Feb and March.

If I were to guess, since these were being shipped to the UK, that the box got pilfered somewhere between being dropped off at the post office in Maine and before they were supposed to go on a plane, either in the regional sorting facility or local post office.

Probably not from paypal but other routes like USPS and insurance are options.
