Correction! There's not enough fractional chips because Ben has them all!

How could I possibly change your mind? It’s like trying to make you like my tiger painting. I think it’s amazing. You might think it’s ugly.

When it comes to chips, there is no better than or worst than. How can your interpretation of what is beautiful and pretty be the only interpretation?

I’m tired of terms like “goat” “the best” etc etc. we all have the colors and patterns that speak to us.
This is the best comment in this thread, possibly of all time.

Just read through the whole "bridge shuffle" debacle over the last several pages.

Not sure if y'all know this, but most everyone here is in the "top 1%" of home game players. In just about every home game I've played in in the last 35+ years, people used those cheap plastic chips you get at the drug store and either bridge shuffled or overhand shuffled. When I first learned how to bridge shuffle, sometimes I would do it and people looked at me like I was stacking the deck or getting ready to pull a pigeon out of my sleeve. I didn't really see people doing a tabled riffle until the big poker boom in the early 2000's. Even then I still saw a lot of people bridge or overhand. I've never, even seen anyone do a wash at a home game.

I thought the bridge shuffle was awesome when I first learned it. On my first trip to a real casino, when the dealer washed all the cards on the table, I thought he was just being lazy  :ROFLMAO:

... Maybe it's time to graduate to a riffle

Lol. I thought the same thing about the wash. I was like “is this dealer new over here or something” :ROFLMAO:

I 100% wash at home games when I get zero cards for 2 or 3 orbits... it never works... but always my go to when running bad. No one has ever had a problem with it.

I do this same thing.

Nobody has ever cared. Usually a few folks will say “cool”, thanks”, or even “ya…give em a wash”

Never works though. Sucking at poker is real.

Washing at home games run into 2 problems: 1) not enough time and 2) nit enough table surface to do a proper one.

Casino tables are usually wider and longer, so lots of space to move the cards around without bumping into the closest stacks.

Both of you are doing it completely wrong. You must first quickly put the deck back in order A through K in each suit just like it comes out of the box. THEN you wash and shuffle and VOILA, you wake up with AAs. ;)
Believe me, I’ve aggravated the shit out of some folks with this technique. IT WORKS!! :ROFLMAO:

Just look at all this acknowledgement after getting the deck to work in my favor! ;)

Oh, I've got a good one...

Five card draw and five card stud are superior poker games to Texas Hold 'em.

Most CPC molded chips are better feeling than any unleaded Paulson RHC chip.
Is it that controversial ahah ?
Oh I think it is. I think there are plenty of dingleberries who buy into the Paulson hype without giving CPC chips realistic consideration.
(This from a guy who’s owned over 10 Paulson sets and zero CPC sets, yeah yeah I’m working on it!)

Hard to argue with an opinion but I can at least strongly disagree. 5-card draw is a real snoozer
With the Joker and played no-limit with a table ante = SB+BB it's fun.
However, 5-card stud ...
