So, after a few months of buying, selling (obviously a lot of the former ), and let's not forget trading, I now have several incomplete sets. But as you all say, it's about the journey, right?

Sick sets Ken. I don't think anyone can blame you for not having complete sets, especially ones as desirable and hard to come by as those.

That's a tall order. I have a rack (gorgeous chips, and what eventually started me down the TRK rabbit hole), but don't know of very many people (if any) who have multiple racks. Have you tried Spinettis?

At least a half-dozen color/spot combos, on both RHC and THC molds.....the three you have, plus Blue, Canary, and Radiant Red. Other presidents include Lincoln, Kennedy, Truman, and at least two versions of Washington.

I think I have a rack each of the same chips you have. Bought 'em for the purple chips to re-label, but have since abandoned that project.

The gem in the group is obviously the hundos. I highly doubt I will buy 3 racks of them, as it is unlikely I will ever put these in play. But I will look for them, patiently, in the classifieds in the coming months. No rush. Didn't contact Spinettis. They are asking for $6/chip on their site. That's an awesome looking set of pictures/chips. I am not really into relabeling, and was just going to collect a barrel of each over time. Now that I have seen all the others, I know what to look for in case they come up for sale.

Not uncommon that they sell for up to $10/chip in small quantities. I was a bit surprised that they are asking as little as $6.

I would of bought the BCC sets I hymned and hummed about and now regret not buying them. I would not give up on the hobby. Half the fun for me is trying to find them. The hunt is the thrill.
