It was my first time, it was huge, needs to age for a while, but the nose, palate were fantastic. Great super cab.

Great wine. The cellar door in Adelaide is great too, food and wine is worth the visit.
Yeah, it was incredible, for sure. Gradually working my way up to a bottle of Grange, hahaha!
I give up on this for legal reasons. I'll find other ideas !

I love the budget priced Apothic Red, but I've never seen the Apothic Brew. Do you know if they still produce this?
Just picked up a bottle last week. Good juice.
Last night we did a vertical of Selyems Estate Pinot noir. Results is that they age beautifully. 2012, 2013 and 2014 probably the best of the night. The others can age a few more years but still exceptional.

Today’s cork blew my mind. I’d say almost perfect fill on this 41 yr old wine . Has quite a bit of funk pouring the first glass. Let’s see if she opens up into anything.

Oh, wow! One of the four Ridge bottles I brought along on this cruise to Lisbon, this is by far the best wine we've tasted in the last ten days. Rich, smooth, perfect from the moment it was opened. As much as I love Ridge zins, this one outdoes almost all of them. Perfect with Osso Buco and perfect beef tenderloin.
I love Syrah/Grenache blends. Australia does lots of good ones at a reasonable price point.

Still maintaining structure with soft tannis as to be expected from an aged Bordeaux wine. Paired well with my meal of roasted chicken, potato, and green beans. Some of these suckers are built to last many decades!
IMO, for this wine, drink now! Of course, the older I get this is my montra.
