That makes sense. For that kind of stuff people either have one bottle they’re saving for a special occasion (wedding date, etc) or they have cases and cases of it like your uncle. I’m not one of those people with cases and cases but I’ve met a few ( unfortunately these picks are not my cellar lol)

Yah I’m not quite sure what to do with them lol. We have drank one case only so far. I’d sell 1 or 2 but I would need to find a local and someone willing to pay. Just gonna drink and enjoy them…

Some of the corks are very brittle, I’ve found a butler wine opener to be the most successful getting the cork out.

You should ABSOLUTELY be enjoying them. When are you ever going to get another chance at that? Also, you need to get a compressed air opener. I use it for vintage ports etc and it has been an absolute game changer. No more messing with crumbling corks — they come out every time within 2 seconds.

Going to be a fun night. Think I’m most excited to see how the Ridge is holding up! Although I’m a total sucker for Riesling
What vintage is the Pagani, and how was it? That Cantenac Brown should have been a star...

And BTW, today is National Zinfandel Day! We're going with a Ridge Hooker Creek Zin 2017 tonight.

It’s a 2008, we actually didn’t end up opening that bottle. So maybe we should tonight!

The Cantenac was great, I love my Margaux.
