Pardon me, I meant the $500's.The $5s aren't gone

This was more difficult than anticipated. I keep throwing money at my screen but nothing seems to be happening.
Maybe. They were limited to max 200 of the five-hundo chips, though, and I have to imagine there were a lot more than that. I just think people knew what they wanted and within a minute or two they had locked and loaded and checked out.I suspect that somebody snagged all $500s immediately, then went back and ordered whatever else they needed to justify the percentages.
Just another reason I really dislike this format for selling chips that are in short supply. Works great only if ample quantities are available for everybody.

I tried that first one and it was sold out within seconds. Tried to go back and add more $1/$5 and then realized after I checked out that the quarters didn't save, and missed on those too. Hate that I had to do it from a hotel room too. The whole thing just felt...wrong from the start.maximizing percentages:
qty denom
100 x 0.25
200 x 0.50
900 x 1 + 5 combined
300 x 25
300 x 100
200 x 500
------
2000 chips, $2010
qty denom
50 x 0.25
100 x 0.50
350 x 1 + 5 combined
200 x 25
200 x 100
100 x 500
------
1000 chips, $1035
I hope that is not what happened.....if it did, that person should be banned for throwing off all subsequent ordersI suspect that somebody snagged all $500s immediately, then went back and ordered whatever else they needed to justify the percentages.

This may help a bit, although some denominations will already be sold out at that point. At some point, probably after the 1st hour or so , we'll will make a post to remove the limits.
nah. As long as your final order meets the percentage requirements, that's fair. Just a smart shortcut.I hope that is not what happened.....if it did, that person should be banned for throwing off all subsequent orders

The max you could've ordered would be 200, so in this scenario we're talking about a situation where someone went in and just ordered thousands of $500s to block them out.nah. As long as your final order meets the percentage requirements, that's fair. Just a smart shortcut.
Yeah that would be dirty. I was just thinking somebody bought their rack of $500's then went back and bought other stuff.I might not have thought it through completely. I'm not sure the quantities update after checkout is complete or once they've been added to a cart. I was thinking that maybe someone added 5000 500's to their cart and thus not allowing anyone else to get any. I'm not sure how all this works...just bummed like many others who missed out on fracs and the 500's
I was actually going to do this, even posted about it a few days ago. Should've kept my mouth shutYeah that would be dirty. I was just thinking somebody bought their rack of $500's then went back and bought other stuff.
Should have limited $500’s to 1 or 2 barrels.

Limits on remaining chips have been removed
