Thanks Dave. This says alot about who you are and what we all knew you stood for. It has been a pleasure to work with you the last 2 years. Sounds like Mike was a great choice. Best wishes for whatever lies ahead.Just to clarify a few things. Mike has been a CPC customer for over 10 years. I have had lengthy conversations with him over the two months leading up to the completion of the deal.
My criteria for selecting the best offer (we received 4 competitive offers) was not $$ based, it was for the 'candidate' I felt provided the best chance of being successful in keeping CPC going, especially with what happened with ASM Las Vegas.
Over 50 people expressed an interest in buying CPC and 7 of them got as far as participating in the factory tour. (the 4 offers came from those). Each person had to demonstrate their vision for taking CPC forward. There will be a transition period of at least 9 months, and this will continue until Mike and I are comfortable with everything.
7) Add an 8V spotGood morning PCF! I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Amirault and, yes, I am the new owner of CPC. While I have been a CPC customer for over a decade and have placed a half dozen orders I am essentially an outsider of the chipper community. My PCF registration date probably already gave that away!
I realized before I purchased the company - and even more so now - that I essentially bought into a Public Trust. There is definitely a sense of community ownership of CPC. I plan to uphold that trust.
My goals for the company are simple:
1) Sustain or increase product quality
2) Substantially decrease time for order production. Instead of ‘x months’ I want ‘x weeks’ or even ‘x days’.
3) Modernize and simplify the web and ordering experience
4) Visibility into your order status
5) Upgrade the entire experience to be reflective of the premium product we’re producing
6) Don’t do anything that breaks goal #1
There will be a transition period before we can roll out most of the changes. Most changes won’t be visible until late summer or early fall. Please be patient as we work through the process and be assured that behind the scenes there is a lot going on to setup the company for the next 20 years.
I greatly look forward to producing all of your beautifully designed chips.
thanks,
Mike
ps. That Hendon Mob bio is not me. I live in Woodinville, WA. They have me confused with a different Mike Amirault. Although that $1400 *was* from a tournament that I cashed in.

Congrats and welcome to CPC.
2 questions:
1. Will Ewing mold remain available?
2. Will CPC production/logistics be moving to the PNW?
Follow-up to #2: if the company moves to the PNW, will you be hiring for logistics/billing/etc or any of my skill set?![]()

Compression molded clay chips can't be made with recesses for applying your own inlays. Because inlays are inserted into the blanks before pressing it makes it inefficient and expensive to hold too many off-the-shelf options.Congrats… My only suggestion would be to offer more enticing off-the-shelf options — preferably with an option for either in-house inlay options, or blanks that buyers can create their own labels for (with @Gear or Sticker Mule etc.).
And perhaps tungsten powder option? WelcomeHow about a decent yellow?
Mill, baby, mill!Compression molded clay chips can't be made with recesses for applying your own inlays. Because inlays are inserted into the blanks before pressing it makes it inefficient and expensive to hold too many off-the-shelf options.
