Come to the Seattle area and we can share some good whiskey or Scotch. We could even tour all of the local brewpubs. My wife would LOVE a vacation to Greece, but I don't see that happening in the near future.By the way, I love @Saoliver
Who is this man?
How could we ever arrange a drinking session together? Where?
What would the costs may be?

And @navels, @Potsie1 and many others! If my daughter decides to stay in Portland over the Spring/Summer I might only be a couple of hours from you and @liftapint
I would have grabbed some last time, but the shelf wasn't stocked yet. I believe it's $25.99 here.Buffalo Trace for under $25 is impossible to beat in my book.

I liked it. Very pleasant, and pretty easy to drink at 80 proof. Great value for $22.
I'm just starting to appreciate whiskey, hence I HAVE to have it on the rocks. I can't drink it "neat" (that's just warm by itself?). Can't do it, but on the rocks I'm really enjoying it.
Small Batch Select, but I wouldn’t consider that one cheap. Maybe for some of the ballers running around here. But I just bought a bottle for my collection after many months.I like it. Its a little to light for me. I prefer the small batch. Better yet, what was that Four Roses that you brought to my meet up. That was one of my favorites @Forty4
It’s very pleasant, for sure. Tasty and light at 80 proof. Plus, it’s <$25. It’s a great intro whiskey.@Beakertwang I'm loving this Four Roses even more the more I drink it. Having a glass as I say goodbye to some chips shipping out to their new owners

I don’t now if I’ve ever seen any Old Forester locally. If I do see some, I’ll give it a shot. Its great for the price. I prefer the Old Forester 100 for <$25 bucks. I like a little more bite. My wife almost always has a bottle of this on hand for her version of the kentucky mule.

Exactly this.Buffalo Trace for under $25 is impossible to beat in my book.
Four Roses is probably my favorite distillery consistently. Their small batch for a few bucks more ~$25 is a great drinker, their standard Single Barrel is my favorite bourbon under $40, Small Batch select is good at $60, but my favorite 4R Whiskey and probably my favorite attainable bourbon in general are the Four Roses Private Select single barrels ($60-80) - 10 different mash recipes to choose from, range from 8-12 years usually, and while all have familial flavor, their nuances are endlessly delightful (and expensive) to explore. This is probably where the majority of my bourbon purchases in the future will lie.
