Services Sale of Classic Poker Chips Completed!! (7 Viewers)

The simplest thing a CPC site needs, and that can be set up right now, is the ability to buy standard chips individually. Like on Apache, for example, or as it happens with TheChipRoom.
And you wouldn't have to write tiresome messages about how you need a different number of chips and something different from the "standard breakdown", especially considering that it is not at all ideal....
I would have bought a couple of additional sets a long time ago. :-)

Agree, would be nice to have an easy shopping cart to be able to add 10-20 chips of a denomination if your game size increases or if you lose a few chips somehow.

Dude! how many non chipers would click a buy now button to a 100/200/300/100 (NonDenom, 1, 5, 25) of clay chips, its an easy button for people who want decent chips but don't actually know or understand what they want. It's gets them in the door, and will spread out their budget when they need more chips.

CPC could do a contest for the best write up on why noobs err customers should buy setX and give away a commemorative chip or something... Even top 5 customer reviews or something.

Absolutely re: and easy button for denoms.

I said in another thread, but you could build a 3-4 question quiz like the chip calculator we have here that spits out a suggested breakdown for you that you can tweak after. Would help so many people out.

Yes, but why not have both options?

I would probably discontinue a handful of the less popular molds to cut down on lead time, and if possible, make CSQ the always-in-production mold.

It seems universally liked and the go-to one whenever people have a theme that doesn’t call for any mold in particular. Setting aside that I personally don’t like the A-mold, I don’t really understand why it should hold that honor. I wouldn’t think it makes sense to use it unless one has an A-something theme to go with it.

Obviously, production/business wise, that’s all uninformed opinions from a customer’s perspective.
It's not my favorite either...but I have an A-something theme unfortunately and the other molds don't make as much sense with my theme!

".... But now that I own the Chocolate Factory I'll have to revert to being the mysterious Willy Wonka."

If it hasn't been requested yet...please introduce the color..."snozzberry"... ASAP.

Thank you.

Any chance of getting Rounders chips on the Roman mold some day? Also, when do you expect a more streamlined ordering system online for stock CSQ rounders? @CPC_Mike

The Roman mold is worn out and unusable. There has been no indication of any plan/intent to create new molds or replicate old ones.

Good morning PCF! I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Amirault and, yes, I am the new owner of CPC. While I have been a CPC customer for over a decade and have placed a half dozen orders I am essentially an outsider of the chipper community. My PCF registration date probably already gave that away!

I realized before I purchased the company - and even more so now - that I essentially bought into a Public Trust. There is definitely a sense of community ownership of CPC. I plan to uphold that trust.

My goals for the company are simple:

1) Sustain or increase product quality
2) Substantially decrease time for order production. Instead of ‘x months’ I want ‘x weeks’ or even ‘x days’.
3) Modernize and simplify the web and ordering experience
4) Visibility into your order status
5) Upgrade the entire experience to be reflective of the premium product we’re producing
6) Don’t do anything that breaks goal #1

There will be a transition period before we can roll out most of the changes. Most changes won’t be visible until late summer or early fall. Please be patient as we work through the process and be assured that behind the scenes there is a lot going on to setup the company for the next 20 years.

I greatly look forward to producing all of your beautifully designed chips.

thanks,
Mike

ps. That Hendon Mob bio is not me. I live in Woodinville, WA. They have me confused with a different Mike Amirault. Although that $1400 *was* from a tournament that I cashed in.
Awesome news!
